The Dutch Tax authorities is sending letters between November and March to all addresses for which TTB compensation has been applied for in 2023. The TTB compensation is a 2023 government scheme to help people with a shared energy connection (block heeting) meet the high energy costs. Did you not live with us in 2023? Then the letter does not apply to you.
For SSH& tenants with a shared energy connection, we have applied for the compensation. This compensation has also been paid in full: we did this by reducing the advance payments in July 2023. And we settled the remainder of the compensation during the 2023 settlement of service costs. This took place in July 2024. As a result, many tenants got more money back than usual.
* Town houses with their own energy contract and block heating were responsible for applying for the compensation themselves. They were informed about this by us.
