Are you an SSH& resident? If so, you can become a member of our active tenants' organisation Stichting Platform Huurdersbelangen (SPH). SPH defends the interests of all tenants and ensures that they are included in SSH&'s plans and policies. After all, as a tenant you know better than anyone what is needed for a pleasant living environment. SPH is an important partner for SSH&. Together, we discuss numerous topics that are important to tenants, such as sustainability, renovation, new construction plans and service fees.
Do you like to help look for improvements? Are you not afraid to let your opinion be heard? And would you like to represent SSH& residents and become the point of contact for your complex? Then maybe joining SPH is for you!
What to expect
As a member of SPH, you will have meetings about twice every quarter where you will give advice on, for example, rents, sustainability and the inclusion of international students. In doing so, you are not afraid to be critical or come forward with your own input for improvement.
As a member you get free access to all kinds of courses from Woonbond, you can join sessions on various topics (such as sustainable building, accounting for organisations, social cohesion, etc.) and you can use the SPH office, where you can work whenever you want.
You will receive a volunteering fee for your work. Experience is not required, but it is a condition that you are an SSH& tenant. And a good dose of enthusiasm is appreciated!
SPH is currently specifically looking for a new chairperson. As chairperson, you will be the face of SPH: you are spokesperson to media and you take the lead in consultations on behalf of SPH. Experience with board positions is not a requirement. Interested? Feel free to contact SPH.
